Bethesda Debuts First Trailer For New Game, Dishonored

So this trailer is actually really awesome. You can tell Bethesda has worked very, very hard to make a believable universe we’re all going to get sucked in to. Developed by Arkane Studios, who did a lot of design work for Bioshock 2, the game is definitely coming together nicely. The trailer is a blend of live action and CGI and is very violent. While Game Informer released quite a bit of info on the game not too long ago, this is the first time anybody has really seen what the world will be like. There’s some kind of vehicles, but also what appears to look like soldiers from the 1700s. The tagline: “Revenge Solves Everything.” The game will drop later this year. The trailer and synopsis are below:

“Dishonored is set in Dunwall, an industrial whaling city where strange technology and otherworldly mysticism coexist in the shadows. You are the once-trusted bodyguard of the beloved Empress. Framed for her murder, you become an infamous assassin, known only by the disturbing mask that has become your calling card. In a time of uncertainty, when the city is being besieged by plague and ruled by an oppressive government armed with neo-industrial technologies, dark forces conspire to bestow upon you abilities beyond those of any common man — but at what cost? The truth behind your betrayal is as murky as the waters surrounding the city, and the life you once had is gone forever.”
