On the first day of E3 2014 Electronic Arts announced that their latest EA Sports NHL title, NHL15, will be releasing in North America on September 9th. This will be the very first time that the NHL series is being brought to next generation consoles and my oh my does it look wonderful. The entirety of NHL15 has been completely overhauled to truly bring hockey into the next generation with all new presentation that brings the sights, sounds, and feel of the fastest team sport to your gaming console like never before.
What makes this trailer impressive is that it was filmed only using gameplay from NHL15.
With the power of these next gen consoles fans will experience the most realistic looking visuals in a hockey game ever. This ranges from likeness of the players to their real life counterparts and even to the revamped physics system that allows all twelve players on the ice react with real collision physics. As well as the collision physics there are brand new puck physics that really capture the unpredictability of the sport. As we mentioned in the Teaser Trailer you’re going to get access to the all new commentary team of Doc Emrick and Eddie Olczyk from the NBC Sports team; as well as TSN analyst Ray Ferraro to give you a world class broadcast experience on your home console.
