We all sort of saw it coming, Pikmin 3 has just been announced for the WiiU.

There are a bunch of new things coming to this new game like new pikmin called “rock Pikmin” Using the nunchuck you can aim and shoot the pikmin more accurately like shooting them towards enemy eyes. The WiiU controller and screen will be showing the map which can be used to zoom in and make sure you are using your pikmin efficiently.

Challenge modes will now be available that tasks you with collecting the most fruit and this controller will allow you to have a more strategic view of the area.
