Throughout the month of August, Microsoft will be releasing a new Arcade title each week. As an added bonus, those who purchase two of these games will receive a free Souls Pack for Ascend: Hand of Kul.  First up is Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons.

Brothers, which was developed by Starbreeze Studios, promises to be one of the most unique games to be released all year, introducing two main characters, but no cooperative play available in the game.  The player controls each brother individually and must use both to overcome obstacles in this story-driven game.  Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons was released on August 7th, 2013 for the Xbox 360 for 1200 MSP ($15).  The game will be released later this year for PS3 and PC.

Charlie Murder will be the second release during the Summer of Arcade, becoming available for download on August 14th, 2013, costing only 800 MSP ($10).  Follow the punk rock band Charlie Murder as they venture on to save their front man’s girlfriend from a rival death metal band in this four player 2D beat-em-up game from Ska Studios.

Next up on the schedule is Flashback, a remake of the popular 1992 platformer which is being developed by VectorCell.  The game will include many new features based on fan feedback as well as new technologies which have become available in the 21 years since this game was originally released.  Changes include a new skill tree, extended story, and decreased difficulty.  However, for the hardcore fans of the game, a port of the original 1992 version will be included with your download. Flashback will be released August 21, 2013 for 800 MSP ($10).

Cowabunga! Mikey, Leo, Raph, and Donnie are back in Red Fly Studio’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, which will wrap up the Summer of Arcade on August 28th, 2013.  While mostly based on the Nickelodeon show, this game does draw some inspiration from the original comics.  The game is meant to be played with the 4-player online mode, however a single-player mode and an offline two-player co-op are also available. So get your pizza ready, because these heroes in a half-shell will be available for 1200 MSP ($15). Turtle Power!
