World of Warcraft is one of those games that has been out there for so long that people forget how long it’s actually been out. This is due in part to the regular release of expansion packs with tons of content that keep the players coming back year after year. Warlords of Draenor is commemorating the 10th anniversary of WoW and is actually the fifth expansion pack released.
This year is no different as Blizzard look to release their newest WoW expansion, Warlords of Draenor. There was a trailer set for release today that has finally revealed the launch date, until now there has been much speculation but the official date is November 13th 2014
Warlords of Draenor includes a brand new feature that allows you to boost a character to level 90 instantly. This allows people to jump right into the new expansion without having to level up their characters from 1-100 (the new level cap!). One new feature coming is creating your own garrison which hearkens back to the RTS days of Warcraft 2 and Warcraft 3. There will be some big changes and features coming to PVP (Player Vs. Player) Including a whole new area called Ashran which brings a new level to world PVP.
And here’s the list of all the new zones: Frostfire Ridge, Talador, A new Shadowmoon Valley, A new Nagrand, Gorgorond, Spires of Arak, Tanaan Jungle, With new dungeons: Bloodmaul slag mines, The Iron Docks, a new Auchindoun, SkyReach, Grimrail Depot, The Everbloom, Shadowmoon Burial Grounds, A new Upper Blackrock Spire, With new raids like: Blackrock Foundry, Highmaul (arena).
