Microsoft has officially announced today that the Xbox One will be available in stores on November 22nd in 13 territories including the two largest markets for the Xbox brand, North America and the United Kingdom.
Secondary markets include Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand and Spain.
It has also been confirmed by Marketing Executive Yusuf Mehdi that more Xbox One Day One Editions are available to pre-order so you can get your hands on that exclusive branded console, controller, and downloadable bonuses.
If you remember back to the release of the Xbox 360, it also fell on the same November 22nd eight years prior in 2005.
Oh, and the Xbox One’s CPU speed has been increased from 1.6GHz to 1.75GHz. It’s very interesting that they chose to release AFTER the PlayStation 4’s North American release date of November 15th.
